Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 of 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and discovered her love for sprinting in the sprints at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first tryout she came in second place in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed a sports contract with Adidas. After that, she was accepted into at the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic medal at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record running 200 meters for 22.18. Felix was also the youngest participant in the 200 meters at the World Championships held in Helsinki in the year 2005. She won her medal time and time again in 2007 defeating time-tested Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. She was consistently in the top three of the events.
